- I am a wood frog! This is during the summer when I am outside and are warm and can move around.
- Slide: 2
- This is a nice place to rest.This is the time of year when I hibernate for 7-8 months! When this happens my lungs stop working and my heart stops beating. I will produce large amounts of urine. Instead of it going out of my body, I store it in my blood. My body freezes ups untill the year rolls around spring again.
- As I start to frezze the ice starts to come out of my cells into my body. To prevent my cells being complety hydrated my liver starts to make large amounts of glucose for me not to die! When the anti-frezze gets packed into my cells helping me not get deyhrated. This is called homestasis. This is how my body enters the hybration phase and my whole body stops working.

- Im back! Its spring again and my body dethowed after 8 months! My body dethawed it self in 30 minutes. My body gained all its water back and my cells are all hydrtaed. I go to live as a normal wood frog untill winter rolls around again!
