  • Magnetic Island is located off the coast of Townsville in Queensland. The Wulgurukaba people call Magnetic Island Yunbenun. There are many fun things you can do on the beach. You can look at reef koalas, walk on trails, visit the beach front bars, take perfect Instagram photos, and participate in the Island Life Beach Festival.
  • Yea, but I can't stop thinking about the Island Life Beach Festival tonight. I'm so excited!

  • Lord Howe Island is located 600 km south east of Sydney. The only way to reach Lord Howe Island is by plane, so to get to the Island you will have to take a plane from Sydney or Brisbane. There are many nice outdoor adventures on this island. There are tall mountain peaks, coral pools, walking trails, and lots of wildlife.

  • Cockatoo Island is located in the heart of Sydney Harbour. The aboriginals call Cockatoo Island Wareamah. There are ferries available to transfer you to the island from Circular Quay or Darling Harbour, Sydney. Cockatoo Island or Waremah is a UNESCO World Heritage Listed Site. The island was once a convict penal settlement. You can now have a picnic, learn about history, and have a nice BBQ on the island.
