- 'tis torture, and not mercy. heaven is here, where Juliet lives; and every cat and dog and little mouse, every unworthy thing
- scene 3
- turned that black word "death" to " banishment" this is dear mercy, and thou seest not
- scene 4
- acquaint her here of my son Paris ' love and bid her (mark you me?) on Wednesday next
- i will, and know her mind early tomorrow; tonight, she's mewed up to her heaviness
- these times of woe afford no times to woo. madam, good night. commend me to your daughter
- in this scene the nurse told Juliet what had happened to her cousin Tybalt; he was killed by Romeo. even though Juliet was upset she forgave her husband because she knows that her cousin would've killed Romeo if he could've. she also tells the nurse to tell Romeo that she still wants to see him that night .
- scene 5
- Here comes your father. Tell him so yourself , and see how he will take it at your hands
- Now by saint Peter's church, and Peter too, He shall not make me there a joyful bride!
- in this scene the Frair explained to Romeo that he had been banished. he also told Romeo taht if he was seen by anyone, he would be killed. later on, in that scene the nurse comes and tell Romeo that Juliet still wants to see him that night
- act 4 scene 1
- thy face is mine, and thou hast sland'red it .
- it may be so, for it is not mine own. are you at leisure, holy father, now, or shall i come to you at evening mass?
- my leisure serves me, pensive daughter, now. my lord, we must entreat the time alone
- in this scene, Paris is talking to Juliet's parents so that he can marry her because he's being impatient. her father agrees because he believes it would lift her mood since her cousin had just died
- Act 4 scene 2
- how now, my headstrong! where have you been gadding?
- Pardon , I beseech you! henceforward I am ever ruled by you
- in this scene Juliet and Rome already had their wedding night together but in the morning her mother came in and told her about Paris' proposal to her and she denied .
- in scene 1 Paris goes to the Frair to ask him to marry Juliet and him. while he is at the Frair's, Juliet comes inside trying to speak to the Frair. Juliet doesn't want to marry Paris and she is trying to find a way out of it
- in scene 4 Juliet apologizes to her father to make him belive that she was going to willing get married to Paris
- go tell him of this. I'll have this knot up tomorrow morning
