- Aristotle's vision is a noble one, but the heavens are more intricate than simple spheres can explain. To reconcile the geocentric model with the complexities of planetary motion, I introduced the concept of epicycles. Imagine a small circle, the epicycle, rolling around a larger circle, the deferent. The planets follow paths traced by these epicycles. This intricate system allows us to accurately predict celestial positions, preserving the Earth's central place while accounting for the apparent irregularities in the heavens.

- The geocentric theory posits a simple and elegant cosmic order. The Earth, our home, is the unmoving center of the universe. Imagine it as a grand sphere with the heavens surrounding it like layers of an onion. The Moon, the Sun, the planets, and the stars are embedded in these celestial spheres, each perfectly round and rotating at constant speeds. This harmonious arrangement reflects the perfection of the cosmos and the divine order.
