- We just got married and we are aleady sailing to New Zealand. This will be a long, tough journey. We had to move because my husband got a new job.
- We will be the first ever Christians to live in New Zealand I wonder if there will be any churches
- ok I will look after Catherine and do my work.
- There is no places to get our children baptised so i will have to take our two older kids to sydney.
- This will be a long trip
- I will write a letter to Bishop Polding In Sydney. Maybe I will also write one to Rome to request a priest, as there is so priest /church here.
- Every Sunday Thomas get together with other christian in a house. They read the gospel and say the rosary
- I cant believe I am the first ever priest/bishop in New Zealand. This is my first ever time saying a mass inside a cottage.
- Bishop Pompallier was the first ever bishop in New Zeland. His first mass was inside a four roomed cottage.
- Thomas and mary's son Edward died suddenly. He was the first catholic in the country to receive a church burial
