- He became extremely interested in circuit boards and transistors. His father was glad to help him learn. Steve soon became an electronic wizard. He spent a lot of his time working home, instead of playing with the kids from the neighborhood. When he was in 8th grade, he builds a calculator, with which he won the prize in a local competition. Most of his time he was building small objects and reading magazines about electronics, while his friends were having fun.
- Wozniak Junior decided to get a job, so at least he could make some money. He was hired by a local computer manufacturer, getting his first job. There he got an offer from one of his colleges: they wanted to build one of the computers he planned on paper earlier. He accepted happily. He started to work on the project with one of his friends named Bill Fernandez, who was still in high school. They worked together in the garage of the Fernandez family. While making the computer, they had large quantities of lemonade as a fresh drink. This is the reason why they decided to name it "the lemonade computer".
- When the computer was done, Bill told Steve Wozniak that he had to meet one of his friends. His name was Steve too, and he also liked to build different electronic widgets. This was one of the most important moments in Apple's creation. They met in front of Bill’s house for the first time. They instantly liked each other, as they had so much in common, especially in the field of electronics.
