- "I am absolutely astounded by your blindness. Your infatuation with this Tartuffe is indescribable, so much so, that you do not believe a word your dear wife is telling you... He is not as pious as you believe. He is a hypocrite, who lusts after me and is using your generous charity in a greedy , selfish, and un-christian like manner."
- "Nonsense! These accusations are the byproduct of your contempt towards him and how dear he is to me. Besides, if this beautiful man truly desires you, why did you have such a subtle and careless reaction when my joke of a son exposed his supposed wrong-doing?"
- Slide: 2
- "Simply because I do not believe in raising such a commotion over a simple declaration of love. I am not a fan of such melodrama and do not think that my honor should be defended through a harsh or angry tone. I would much rather handle the situation moderately, and offer a calm rejection to Tartuffe's advances, which, in my opinion, is just as proven as any approach."
- "Whatever, I refuse to change my mind and listen to your false excuses that work to belittle and insult this pious man, whom I love like a brother."
- Slide: 3
- "I can't believe this. You stubborn, weak, and gullible man! I wonder how you would react if you saw Tartuffe's true behavior and intentions, unrestricted by your presence, for yourself, and finally were able to believe us and drop this pathetic act!"
- "To seriously entertain your empty words and accusations and see Tartuffe behind the scenes? Hmmmm..."

- "Impossible, there is nothing to even see!"
- "An opportunity to truly see his wrong-doings and hypocrisy, why not?"
- "Blasphemy!"
- "I am not asking you to believe me. I am asking you to see and decide for yourself about your precious Tartuffe. You can hide under this table."

- "I have already told you, I will not waste my time with your tricks that misrepresent and falsely tarnish my beautiful Tartuffe!"
- "To be quite frank with you, I am tired of being called a liar over and over again. For my sanity and satisfaction, please hide under this table, and see through his deceit."
- "Fine! Let's see what tricks you have up your sleeve. Will your cruel and disgraceful words prove to be true?"
- "Dorine, please bring the apple of my husband's eye."

- "He's coming Madame, but I would be careful of his trickery."
- "Don't worry Dorine, it will be easy to deceit him, considering he worships me."

- "There, you must be well hidden, so make sure you are not heard from or seen!"
- "You must also understand that the things I will say may be strange and shocking, but are all meant to convince you of his true hypocrisy and ill and un-godly intentions. You may stop me at any time when you feel as if you have seen enough and are convinced. I will now unmask this fool."
- "This is way too extreme, but I shall make good on my promise and see this through."

- "Madam, I was told you wanted to talk?"

- "Yes, but preferably alone... Make sure there are no eavesdroppers before closing the door!"

- "Hopefully this will not be a repeat of our previous meeting. I truly apologize on Damis' behalf, I cannot understand what's gotten into him!"
- "Shocked as I was, I tried my best to thwart his efforts in your incrimination and accusation. It is truly a blessing that my husband thinks of you so highly, and was able to believe you over his silly words."
- Is there a point to this?
- "Fortunately, to spite those that do not approve of you, my husband insists that we spend a great deal of time together. Alone, together at last, without fear of repercussions, I can joyfully claim that my heart belongs to you."

- Am I dreaming?
- "My apologies Madame, but I find it difficult to understand your words and your intentions. Just recently, you didn't reciprocate my feelings and did not accept my advances.."
- "My dear Tartuffe, do you not understand the female heart? In the beginning, we try to suppress the feelings you invoke in us, even if justified. We attempt to act against it, but slowly yield to our love, regardless of what our words may say."
- Reciprocate?? No...
- "It appears as if I have divulged my heart to you, but if you still doubt my love for you, please help me understand: Why would I listen to your declaration of love for me if it wasn't of interest to me? Why would I implore you, with urgency, to cancel your soon-to-be marriage with Mariane if I didn't desire to have your heart and love all to myself? I am in love with you".

- "I have never felt such happiness. Hearing something so delightful from the person I desire is my life's greatest pleasure."
- "However, I still doubt your beautiful words for a clever ruse to cancel the wedding."

- "Prove to me that your words are genuine and authentic. Show me that you love me and desire to be with me."

- "Are you serious my dear Tartuffe? Already? This early? Do you mean to drain the love I have for you in my heart. My confession was really difficult to express on its own, but you want more? Are you not convinced? Does this have to go as far as possible?"
- Surely there has to be an explanation...

- "My world, gods' mirror image, words are not an accurate representation of love. I doubt I am worthy of your kindness, much less love. To believe it, I must experience it, and you must prove yourself Madame."

- Is he really that difficult to convince?
- I will wait longer just to ensure I do not make any rash assumptions.

- "I was not expecting a love so demanding and intense, both confusing and overwhelming. Insisting on obtaining what your heart desires immediately? Could we maybe slow things down? I do not think its right for you to unjustly take advantage of the feelings I have for you."
- What is taking my husband so long?
- "But if I have won you over and our feelings towards each other are alike, why can't you make our love evident and official through action?"
