- In the book Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate, Jackson likes facts better then things that are made up. For example: on page 7, Jackson says" I like facts. Always have. true stuff." This shows that Jackson is smart and he knows that he is unique.
- Jackson is imaginative because he can see a giant black cat named Crenshaw, Jackson told crenshaw, "THAT HE DOESN'T EXIST".
- Jackson did not know that he can see crenshaw but still he likes facts,
- When crenshaw said to jackson, on pg.138 crenshaw said "I'M A CAT," and jackson said " I KNOW ." Then a bunch of big guys seid to Jackson and said " WHO YOU TALKING TO, DOOFUS?" This quote is showing that Jackson is getting picked on by big kids.
- Jackson and his dad said to each other " WE ARE HOME LESS". his dad said, Jackson sed back to dad " WE ARE NOT HOMELESS."
- In the end of the book crenshaw is leaving, Jackson said "I hope you come back when I am in a bad mood again"
