- Petruchio and Hortensio enter into the room...

- +Hortensio has aparently arrived from Padua to educate himself at Petruchio´s taming-school
- The taylor arrive at Petruchio's house
- I had prepared elegant and expensive clothes for your journey to Baptista's house.
- They are horrible. You are a poor craftsmanship!
- I will find fault in everything that Kate likes, from the cap to the gown.

- Enters Grumio to the room

- You have to pull the taylor aside and tell him that he will be paid tomorrow.

- Kate we will leave at once for Padua in the clothes that we have on, in order to arrive at noon.
