  • I think that the most important part in the Prologue was the Capulet and Montague's fued. They have been fighting for centuries and this leads to many conflicts. One main one which is Romeo and Juliet commiiting suicide because they can't love eachother. But, after Romeo and Juliet die, the families finally start to get along and don't fight.
  • Would that my blade had struck thee long ago! This strife had ended ‘ere it ever grew!
  • Yeah! I’ll carve from thee the hatred in thy bones!
  • I shall strike my sorrow and it shall accuse my house of wreched sin!
  • Thy pride hath made a grave of Verona’s streets!

  • Good pilgrim, you are ecessivelly devoted with your admiration, which shows me this; for saints have hands which pilgrims' hands touch, and palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.
  • Oh, then dear saint, let lips do what hands do; they pray, they grant, and faith turns into despair.
  • Here, Romeo and Juliet meet, and they instantly fall in love. This is a significant part in the novel because this makes for an interesting story and leads to important and compelling events.

  • The most important event in this act, I believe is when Romeo and Juliet secretly get married. Now, they will spend their life together and love eachtoher forever. Their marriage is done in sceret, though because their families are enemies and would not allow this.
  • Smile the heavens upon this holy act, that sorrow will not arrise later on.
  • Yes, I do!!
  • Amen, amen!
