- When Seth got back to his house, he thought about what Rose and James both said.Seth realised that though forgiveness, he felt healed.
- Before class, Seth talked to his friend Jamie
- presentations today!!
- Are you ready for the presentation?
- Hey Seth!
- Yup!
- Hi Jamie!
- Okay class, settle down and get in you seats
- The teacher cleared his throat and said,
- Okay Sir.
- Hello class! Today you will present your speeches. Seth, you can go first.
- But as he kept speaking, he felt less and less worried.
- When Seth stood up to make his speech, he was very nervous.
- After he finished, the teacher said,
- Great job Seth! Your turn James.
- When James stepped up to speak he was very scared and started to stutter.
- H-hello, everybody
- HA HA HA
- When James stuttered, Seth's friend started to laugh. Seth saw this and wanted to impress him, so he laughed as well and made fun of James.
- Seth realised that he had been very unkind and felt remorse. He decided to apologise.
- After class, Seth was in the hallway when Rose, one of his classmates came up to him
- Seth, you should not laugh at James. He was very nervous, like you were
- Remember the Golden rule, Do unto others as you would have them do to you
- Hey James.I wanted to say sorry for making fun of you.Will you forgive me?
- Seth found James and started to apologise.
- I forgive you.
- We need to ask forgiveness and receive it. We need to offer it without charge to our neighbours, our enemies, our families, and ourselves.
- Remember, as Pope John Paul II said,
- This is Seth. He's excited for school today because he gets to see his friends.
- But also nervous for his presentation in front of the class.
