- Once upon a time, a girl travels to the zoo and she sees their tropical exhibit first. She wonders how high up a a bird is on a tree. She knows the angle of inclination between the tree and the ground is 20 degrees. The inclined length of the branch up to the parrot is 5 meters. To calculate the height, she uses sine. She calculates Sin(20)x 5=height. The height of the tree is around 1.7meters

- The girl's second stop is to the petting zoo where she sees animals playing. She wants to find the distance between a baby rat and a dog . The distance from the rat to the top of the dog is 2 meters and the angle of inclination is 40 degrees. So, she uses cosine to calculate the X value. Cos(40)=X/2------ Cos(40) x 2=XThe dog is around 1.5 meters away from the rat
