  • The French and Indian War began in 1754, this war provided Great Britain enormous territorial gains in North America.
  • Tea Party
  • The Townshend Acts were a series of measures, passed by the British Parliament in 1767, that taxed goods imported to the American colonies.
  • The Intolerable Act
  • The Boston Massacre was a fight that occurred on 1770, It began in a street between American colonists and British soldier, but later the British soldiers shoot and killed 5 people.
  • The Continental Congresses
  • The Boston Tea Party, is a act that lowered the taxes in the tea, so the colonists disguised themselves as Native Americas and thrown the tea in the ocean.
  • The Intolerable Acts were punitive laws passed by the British Parliament in 1774. The laws were meant to punish the colonists for their defiance in the Tea Party.
  • The Continental Congress was the governing body by which the American colonial governments coordinated their resistance to British.
