- Yes mam I know, universal law of gravitation ls usually stated as that every particle attracts every other particle in the universe with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centres

- Very nice question,the Universal law of gravitation successfully explained several phenomena which were believed to be unconnected:. 1)the force that binds us to the earth 2)the motion of the moon around the earth 3)the motion of planets around the Sun 4)the tides due to the moon
- Mam but what is the importance of universal law of gravitation.

- Yes mam, G can be defined as the Gravitational force between two objects of unit mass each separated by a unit distance from each other.
