- Not only was my mom having a religious deliemma but so was I. My moms family would tell me one thing and my dads would tell me something else. It was confusing me, specially as a 8 year old young girl. When people would ask about my religion, I would not know what to say, I was having a personal religious fight inside my mind that troubled me a lot more than I would of wanted it to.
- Along with having a language and religious conflicts. The way that my country did things was very different than the U.S way. Their culture, celebration and significant dates meant nothing to me. It was just there, another day to go to school or be with my family.
- As I got older, I started to understand small things about my parents situations, a major event that affected our lives was being victims of identity theft. That affected us mentally, physically and economically. We all sacrificed many things, my parents, sinlings and I. This was under investigation for years and up to date, there are still issues that this person is causing our family.
