Storyboard Text

  • HI! Jade Adrian here, and today I'm going to give you some background information on Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity.
  • The theory of special relativity uses objects that move in a straight line at a fixed speed to show how space and time are related. One of the most common components might be things that move at the speed of light.
  • Simply put, once an item travels at the speed of light, its mass is limitless and it cannot go much faster than light. This interstellar speed limit has been a hotly debated subject in physics, as well as science fiction, when people tend to worry about how to travel over great distances.
  • The special relativity theory was established by Albert Einstein in 1905, and it is thought to be one of the cornerstones of contemporary physics. After finishing his work on special relativity, Einstein spent more than a decade discussing what else may occur if acceleration were used. His general relativity, which was published in 1915, was founded on this.
  • That's it, thankyou for listening. See you next time!
