Storyboard Text
- In Middle Earth, 2941, where dwarves, dragons and hobbits existed. There was a young Hobbit by the name of Bilbo Baggins, who liked to stay in his home until an ancient wizard came along and sent him on an adventure with 13 dwarves.
- Exposition
- The dwarves are hoping to get their gold and treasure taken from their ancestors by Smaug the great. Knowing it will be a hard journey and with Gandalf the wizard only going halfway.
- Conflict
- The group end up almost getting eaten by Ogres, attacked by Goblins, kidnapped by wood elves and Bilbo ends up with a magical ring from a creature called Gollum. They almost give up several times and some of the dwarves almost drown.
- Rising Action
- They make it to the dragon's cave and Bilbo sneaks in with his invisible ring and steals a goblet. The dragon finds out and is provoked, so he destroys a town nearby. He gets killed by a man named Bard. This brings about the lakemen and elves who want to fight for part of the gold.
- Climax
- The fight ensues, when the goblins come out of nowhere the lakemen and dwarves work together to fight back against them. They almost lose until the eagles and Beorn come to their aid. Still, Thorin, Fili, and Kili die while fighting and leave only 10 dwarves at the end of the book.
- Falling Action
