- Later on the people soon realized that there was a very contagious and terrible disease going around from the Yersinia pestis bacteria.
- I'm currently suffering from the appearance of painful bubos in the groin, neck and armpits.
- Since this infectious disease was so terrible and that doctors had never seen anything like it before they were not prepared to take care of it so the death rate of it led to be 60 to 90 percent.
- Victims of the "Black Death" would normally die between 2 and 7 days after being infected from the disease
- I am a nurse and I do not know how to take care of my patient so she will sadly die.

- There were some side effects from the vaccine, and incomplete protection but the risk of contracting bubonic plague was reduced by 50%. By 1900, over four million people had been inoculated.
