- My wife, Catherine of Aragon, you are unable to produce a male heir to the throne, leaving us only with our daughter Mary.

- We will not allow this marriage. Henry VII, you are herby excommunicated from the Church of England and all its services for secretly marrying Anne Boleyn while being married to Catherine

- Even though Thomas Cranmer married us, you also gave me another girl...I need a male heir.
- Three years later on May 19, 1536, Anne Boleyn was decapitated on charges including adultery, incest, and conspiracy against the king. A year before she died, Thomas More was also beheaded because of High Treason. He was a friend of Henry VII and Lord Chancellor.
- Henry VII married four others after the death of Anne Boleyn. Jane gave him a male heir, but died. He then married Anne of Cleeve in order to act as a European alliance. She was ugly, so he divorced her. Then, he married 19-year-old Catherine Howard, but she was executed due to rumors about their marriage. Finally, he married Katherine but died before her. She was interested in Protestanism and managed to avoid the fate of all the wives before her.

- After Henry VII died, him and Jane's son, Edward VI ruled as Protestant King. As a 15 year old, he passed Laws to enforce Protestant doctrine, and Catholic bishops were imprisoned in the Tower of London.
