- The animals cooperated to finish the harvest in less time than it took Jones and his men. At first it was hard to use the farming tools designed for humans but the pigs found a way around their problems. For example, Boxer and Clover would harness themselves to a rake-cutter. All the animals on the farm worked hard except the pigs who acted as supervisors.
- Snowball teaches the other animals how to read and write. To help the animals with less intelligence Snowball creates a slogan for the Seven Commandments which is 'Four legs good, two legs bad.' Meanwhile Napolean focuses on educating the youth. He even took infants away from their mothers.
- The milk that had previously disappeared and the windfallen apples were found mixed into the pigs' mash. The animals object but Squeler ,who is known for turning black to white, manipulates them into thinking it is for their benefit.
- The animal rebellion is spreading to ther farms.
- Jones and a group of men attempt to seize control of 'Animal farm'. However, with Snowball's tactics and the animals help they drive the humans away. They celebrate and name this event 'the Battle of the Cowshed'.
- The animals make two national holidays, one for the day of the rebellion and the other for the 'The Battle of the Cowshed'. They will fire a gun on these days.
