- Wilbur Whateley, shown on the right, was born under the Whateley family at Dunwich. Her mother was seen as ugly albino woman, and much of this carried onto Whately, but she was always proud of him. Whateley oddly matured incredibly fast, growing a beard and reaching manhood at 10 years old.
- Wilbur's grandfather, Old Whateley was a despised sorcerer who practiced black magic. Whateley indoctrinated Wilbur into sorcery, and the two frequently studied together. They frequently buy cattle to sacrifice to satisfy an... entity, leading many suspicions by the civilians near the Whateley's home.
- Eventually, this... entity demanded so much cattle that it led to Whateley's mom disappearing and Old Whateley dying. His final wish was for Wilbur to get an untranslated Necronomicon from the library to summon the son of Yog-Sothoth, a cosmic entity summoned so that they themselves would summon one of the "Old Ones".
- Wilbur goes to one of the only libraries that stock an original, untranslated copy of the Necronomicon. The professor (Dr. Armitage) skims through the book. He refuses to give it out of fear of malicious intent.
- Wilbur tries to sneak into the library at night, only to be brutally murdered by a guard dog who smelled his odor; the events of which occurred during Wilbur's death would be too grisly to visually represent.
- Dr. Armitage and his crew are shocked to find his rotting corpse, and they witness his body melt into the ground as a mere puddle, as if he never even existed.
