- Jimmy walks off as Scott hangs back. Scott looks aroundhopelessly and goes to walk off to class as a nerdy girl,PENNY (17), approaches him. One person from the group is still around and throws paper at Scott as he runs off attempting to catch the others.Scott looks at Penny and smiles as the two walk of togethertowards class.

- No, but I’m sure it’s nothing.
- Do you want to go get some coffeeafter class?
- SCOTT (17) is in front of the classroom giving apresentation.MADDY walks into the classroom and tries to sneak onby. MR BROOKS is disappointed that she has interrupteda speech.

- Maddy shrugs off Mr Brooks and sits down. Scott hasn’t takenhis eyes off of her since she walked in.
- Corridor

- Scott, if she means that much toyou then you have to tell her.
- Scott develops a sweat and fixes up his glasses. Theclassmates begin to chuckle. Maddy has not even looked up tosee what is going on. Mr Brooks gives the students a sternlook.

- Scott goes to speak but instead lets out a high pitchedsqueak. Everyone laughs at Scott as he walks out of theroom. JIMMY chases after him.
- Scott runs off down the corridor.
