Storyboard Text

  • Johnny is coking up the medicine, music has not yet started.
  • He takes the medicine and feels different
  • The transformation
  • He feels good (This could be the start of the song)
  • 
  • The camera zooms out and makes its way out from the basement window.
  • 
  • 
  •  A wide-shot of the building and Eli on the pavement steps wth the guitar
  • "Johnnys in the basement cooking up the medicine. Im on the pavement thinking bout the government. Oh im so sad tonight, oh i get by. We gonna dance tonight. Boy don't lose you're mind
  • "Johnny's in the middle of a magazine..." Right when he mentions him. is when he comes out. The song continues on as Johnny walks past
  • People start noticing him as he walks down the block
  • "He's got so many women he can't even breath". He starts building a crowd of followers. Eli in the back
  • "He's going to let us down" As his adoring crowd watches him. " And if he gets too fat..."
  • Transition from Johnny to Eli on the last verse and beginning of solo: "No friend of mine".
  • His creamy guitar solo breaks the mob up and the shot focuses solely on him
  • He walks down the block alone and undisturbed until the end of the solo
  • Eli runs into Johnny on the first verse: "Johnny's in the middle of a big ole speech". The camera follows Johnny and leaves Eli behind as the song continues
  • 
  • "He got so many friends he better think on his feet". Camera follows him as he makes wis way down
  • "He's going to let us down". Johnny is visibly worn and tired. He passes Eli and Ani on bench as he makes his way forward.
  • "But I don't care" A car is seen coming towards Johnny as the two look on.
  • Eli gets up from the bench as says the last verse as he looks past the camera to Johnny. "Cause if you look like Johnny people stop and stare"
