My music revolves around the classical style. I was a very versatile composer, and I wrote in every major genre. Some of these consist of symphony, opera, and the solo concerto.

I had a very complex relationship with my father. While he played a big role in my musical development, we had a lot of disagreements. I expressed this tension that we had in Symphony No. 40 in G minor and the Requiem.
By the age of 5, I was able to read and write music. I was pushed by my father to travel around the world and play my music. I traveled to many European countries, such as Italy, France, England, and many German-speaking countries. This exposed me to a variety of music styles, and I incorporated all of these into my compositions. This is evident in my symphonies, operas, and chamber works.
I loved opera and the dramatic arts! I wrote many famous operas, such as The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and The Magic Flute. A lot of my operas had themes into human nature, humor, and the complexities of social relationships.

Orchestra played a huge role in my compositions. I started writing in the classical period, which was at a time when orchestras were growing in size and a diversity of instruments. This allowed me to experiment with different timbres and textures. I incorporated more woodwind instruments, such as clarinets, flutes, in oboes, which were gaining popularity. In my Clarinet Concerto and Symphony No. 40, you can hear how I used woodwinds to add warmth, color, and expressive depth to his music.
