The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise two-wave aerial attack that used aircraft carriers, torpedo planes and bombers. It targeted battleships, airfields and naval bases.Over 350 aircraft were used by Japan. The first wave destroyed air defenses and ships and thee second wave decimated all other remaining ships and facilities.The United States was completely unprepared and had no warning.

In British Colombia, Japanese men were sent to concentration camps to work in poor conditions and the Canadian government seized lots of Japanese properties. This also happened because of the Japanese massacre of Canadian troops stationed in Hong Kong.The Attack on Pearl Harbor and the aftermath in Canada are truly commendable events.
