- Act 1 Scene
- (pulling out his sword) Break it up, you fools. Put your swords away. You don’t know what you’re doing. (Shakespeare 1.1.5).
- Act 2 Scene
- My daughter is still very young. She’s not even fourteen years old. Let’s wait two more summers before we start thinking she’s ready to get married. (Shakespeare 12.2 3)
- Act 3 Scene
- Well, start thinking about marriage now. (Shakespeare 3.3 2)
- A fight starts between the Capulet and the Montague, Benvolio tries to get them from fighting and making a scene. Benvolio wants to keep the peace between them he doesn't want anyone fighting.
- Act 4 Scene
- Paris asks for Juliet's hand but her father doesn't think she's ready for marriage so he tells Paris to wait a bit longer. Juliet's father makes him a deal he will give him the right to marry her if she wants to be with him.
- Act 5 Scene
- (taking JULIET’s hand) Your hand is like a holy place that my hand is unworthy to visit. If you’re offended by the touch of my hand, my two lips are standing here like blushing pilgrims, ready to make things better with a kiss. (Shakespeare 5.5 5)
- Lady Capulet aka her mother tells Juliet to start thinking of marriage she makes her feel bad by telling her that kids her age are already married. Juliet really doesn't like the idea but she'll do it to make every one happy.
- Mercutio makes fun of Romeo for talking about dreams before going into the partly. Mercutio talks about the "Queen Mab" and talks a lot just to make fun of him.
- Oh, then I see you’ve been with Queen Mab. (Shakespeare 4.4 4)
- Romeo and Juliet fall in love, at first sight, they both go into a room a share a kiss. They both don't know each other very well but they know they're in love.
