  • Beware Macduff!

  • This comic strip will by summarizing and analyzing the first three scenes from Act 4 of Macbeth.
  • Scene 2
  • Scene 1 starts off with Macbeth visiting the Three Witches, demanding them to tell him his future.
  • Scene 3, Part 1
  • Should've thought about that BEFORE you two called Macbeth a bad king!
  • Macduff, your wife and children are dead.
  • The Three Witches summon apparitions to convey Macbeth's future to him. The first one tells Macbeth to "Beware Macduff", which confirms his suspicions. The second one tells him that no one born of a woman will harm him. The last one states that he won't be defeated until Birnam Wood marches down Dunsinane Hill. After they all disappear, Macbeth believe that his power is overall safe. Except the fact that Banquo's children still inherit the Throne

  • You won't be harmed by anyone born of a woman!
  • I'm sorry you had to hear this Macduff, but Macbeth is still on the throne!
  • You won't be defeated until the woods march down to fight you
  • Macbeth ordered the Three Murderers to kill Macduff's family. They succeed in this, stabbing Macduth's son(and calling him an "egg") and chasing Macduff's wife until they finally catch her and kill her.
  • Get her!
  • MURDER!!!
  • Under Macbeth's rule, Scotland is a death filled country, Macbeth attempting to stop all opposition against him. Macduff describes that each day a new widow howls, and a new orphan cries, meaning that people are dying each day(notably men)
  • My husband is dead!

  • Ross informs Macduff that his family has been murdered, and Macduff is heartbroken. Malcolm tries to make him feel a little better by telling him to get revenge on Macbeth, to which Maccduff agrees.
  • My family is dead!
  • You're right, Malcolm. That tyrant needs to be dethroned!
