After looking out the window contemplating her current situation, she sits down alone in her room feeling joy from the supresion of her now dead husband.
Conclusion
Hey honey how are....AHHH she is dead!!
Mrs. Malard feels free from opresion and she wants to live a long life becuase her husband is now gone from her life.
Brently Mallard comes back to the house alive and did not die in any near by accidents.
Mrs. Malard dies due to heart disease and the shock of seeing her husband alive after she was told that he had died..
