- I wish I could go to the Spring Fling... Everyone is going, except for me!
- Rising Action
- The other boy, Ossie Nishizono, needed two stitches at the hospital.
- *In Russian* The other boy, Ossie Nishizono, was a little hurt.
- Rising Action pt. 2
- DANIEL, PLEASE. PUT ME DOWN!
- MAYA ALAZOVA
- Maya travels to America because her aunt started living there to live with her husband. Soon, Maya's aunt and her Husband leave America and Maya and her family are stuck here. Maya attends school in America and wishes that she could go to the Spring Fling.
- Climax
- I'll go to the Spring Fling with Maya! I will be her chaperone!
- Nurzhan, Maya's brother, gets into a fight with Ossie Nishizono. Ossie was making fun of how Nurzhan pronounced words, so they got into a fight. Maya translated what Mr. Shanaman said, but instead, made the fight seem as if Nurzhan was only defending himself.
- Falling Action
- Would you like to dance with me?
- Maya has lots of fun with Daniel Klein. Soon, Maya's father catches Maya with Daniel. Her father is enraged, and makes Maya go home.
- Resolution
- Thank you for everything Nurzhan. But where were you?
- Shhh, Nurzhan, Maya. Go to sleep!
- After things cool down a bit, Nurzhan tries to convince his father to let Maya go to the Spring Fling. Luckily, his father accepts the request, as long as Maya takes Nurzhan as a chaperone.
- Sure! That sounds great.
- Before the dance, Maya's mother gives Maya a golden bracelet to wear. When the dance starts, Daniel Klein asks Maya to dance and she accepts. Shannon Lui, Maya's friend, is dancing with David, Daniels friend.
- Yes!!
- The story ends after the dance ends. She found out that Nurzhan was in the washroom, which is why she couldn't find him. Maya is very grateful that Nurzhan did all of this for her, and hopes she can do it again.
- No Problem. I was in the washroom.
