- farah is at her birthday party and is very uncomfortable because she doesn't like to be the center of attention so she goes to open presents and she opens her aunts and its a board game called the gauntlet of sand and death and all her friends at her around and they open the game and it comes to life and it ends up sucking her little brother into the game

- farah and her friends panic so they jump In to try to save him and they end up in a sandy place with people and strange creatures where they have to complete three challenges to get her brother back and the first challenge is a life sized game of mancala the second one is a tasting am where they have to guess the right food and the 3rd challenge is navigating to the final confirmation to destroy the game

- so they complete the challenges and find the the game is run by the architect who is a former player of the game who became trapped because he could not compete the challengesbut in the end she got her brother back and it sent back to the real world
