  • Okay everybody, the first reading of the Stand for Canada act: All Canadian citizens must stand when any verse of Canada is said, out of respect and full acknowledgement.
  • It would be respectful and would make our countries name way more acknowledged.
  • Second Reading: Here Members of Parliament debate pros and cons of the law.
  • We should not pass the law because it would interfere with to much as we say our countries name so much.
  • A Committee: A group of members from opposite parties study details of the law, the committee group changes and improves the law.
  • What about we make the act only for underage people in Canada, 18 and under
  • Great lets send it on its third reading.
  • This law cannot be passed, it would make our countries name so over-used and unacknowledged overtime.
  • The changed bill is read and NP's vote on it, if there isn't enough votes the bill does not pass.
  • Ok We've counted the votes and the majority voted yes, the bill is now moving onto the Senate.
  • I I I
  • The senate is made of senators from each province, senate is where a bill is read again and can be changed and sent for another reading or the bill is passed onto royal assent.
  • Ok nobody wants to make a change Lets pass this bill onto royal assent.
  • The royal assent is the final step of a passing bill into law, the royal assent is where the queen signs off on the bill making it a law of Canada.
  • I signed this bill, it is now a law, anyone 18 and under in Canada now must stand when Canada or its verses are said.
