- these 4 boys decided to join a club to better themselves and to keep them out of trouble.
- each boy had a special characteristic to them that brought them together to achieve the goal to make the robot
- each boy had also had an obstacle in their life didn't stop them from pursuing their dream.
- Oscar was born a leader. He had an issue trying to figure out what he wanted to do in the future until he found out about the competition. He was just going to join the military, but he thought engineering would be a good route for him.
- Lorenzo had a hard time trying to think positively and find a way to help his family not get evicted from their home. They had a hard time paying rent and he didn't want to drop out of school to work. He also wanted to find a way to stay out of the streets and gangs.
- Christian had one of the highest gpas in the district, but he felt like he didn't fit in. Joining the competition helped him feel better about himself.
- Stinky did have a couple complications since he was supposed to go underwater. water was getting into the pipes and ruining wiring and had a bad leak.
- Oscar was able to raise 800 dollars from many connects he had. With that money the boys decided to buy PVC pipe to make their robot which was named stinky. Since they were the only ones using the PVC pipes and everyone was using metal pipes, they used rubber glue to put everything together. They got high off the smell and decided to name the robot stinky.
- Lorenzo decided to go to the nearest stores and grab the best tampons not knowing it it would be the best fit to absorb all the water from getting into stinky,,,
