Storyboard Text

  • Exposition: This is Mathilda, a beautiful woman that's sad because she isn't enjoying the life she could have lived.
  • I'm sad because I'm beautiful and married a poor man when I could have been rich and happy.
  • Conflict: Mathilda doesn't think her outfit is complete and needs diamonds.
  • Now I need diamonds. 
  • Rising Action: Mathilda borrows diamonds from her friend Madame Forestier.
  • May I borrow some diamonds?
  • Yeah, just make sure you return them
  • Climax: Mathilda loses the diamonds and searches for them but to no avail.
  • I lost the diamonds!
  • Falling Action: Mathilda works as a servant, cleaning and such to help pay for the debt of buying a new necklace to replace the old one. 
  • Resolution: Riddled with age, Mathilda confronts her old friend after the debt is repaid. Only to find out the diamonds were imitations!
  • Those diamonds were a replica of originals, they were fake!
