- That's why churches are good and why you should join now!
- The Purtians and other people were very strict about church and their rules about church. Church was mandatory and many people did not like the settlement for this reason, connecticut broke away from Massachusetts because they were too strict for forcing people to be apart of the church.

- Yes we will give you our prisoners for guns and ammunition to help with our war.
- We will give you guns and ammunition in exchange for your prosoners.
- In very religious settlements people would have to go to church and there would be other people like guards, and people from the church that would go around and see if anyone was skipping. If anyone was caught skipping they would be punished for their actions.

- In the later years there would be less people going to church because they were not forced to, and because many of the settlements were too srtict for forcing people to go. So the Preachers would go from town to town holding revival meetings were they would deliver firey sermons to big crowds.

- English and other men would go over to Africa where they would trade guns and ammunition in exchange for their prisoners. They would then take the prisoners and make them slaves.
- The African Americans, or slaves where then taken on a 3 to 6 month boat trip to the colonies. Some of the slaves would try to jump off or starve themselfs to death.
- The slaves would then be bought and would do all of the persons chores and work for them. They were lowly looked apon, harshly treated, but they could not do anything about it.
