Hey guys! You ready to go for our walk?
Yeah! I think we should try that one trail that my mom told us about. She said the trees are really pretty in that part of the forest.
One upon a time, not so long ago, there were three friends who thought they were just going for a walk. Little did they know, they were about to go on a quest that would teach them more about the world they live in.
Amelia, John, and Arlo set out on their way. They were having a great time listening to the running stream and birds, and soaking in the sun. Then, they heard a whisper come from the trees.
Look at all these trees!
I know! we were learning today in school about how trees take the air we breathe out and turn it into air we can breathe back in. They do that with the gunk from cars, too.

What They found was a little squirrel names Nibbles. Well, actually, he isn't from around here. He's a red squirrel from the Amazon Rain forest!

It is also the home of over 3 million other animals. Rainforests only cover 6 percent of the surface of the earth, but they hold over half the species on earth. But something is happening to it!
