  • Analyzing The 5 Transition Stages of
  • Though Economic, Social and Political Changes
  • It seems that us and all of the other families in our community are having many children! This is a great contribution to the ongoing agricultural revolution and hopefully will help the us and the children survive although most don’t seem to be doing so well.
  • Luckily, I have survived past 12 and can provide assistance on the farm
  • Yes it is great, but as of now, most all of the children are dying due to poor maternal care and medicine that we will need to fight off these extremely fatal diseases! I wonder what action the government will take.
  • This medical and industrial revolution thing really is great! We have plenty of healthy and surviving kids. I am a big fan of the increased health care and overall life quality!
  • Yeah it's great! Me and the other women in the community are learning how to read and write, and there seems to be a great increase in education for us and the kids.
  • This storyboard will take you through the visual experience of Germany's 5 stages of transition throughout time.
  • The continuation of enhancing education, gender equality, and contraceptives has led to a lower population growth, I even heard that the average woman nowadays is only having 2 children! I am just loving the improved quality of life in Germany and my new Job!
  • Yup! Death rates are quite low and birth rates continue to decrease. Social factors such as the ones you’ve mentioned are key factors towards these death and birth rate changes!
  • Pre Transition:Due to the extremely high birth rate with an even higher death rate here is very low population growth. This is a result of families being dependent on a large family acting as a workforce to provide for each-other. Many children are born to increase this work force which inevitably leads to many of them dying from poor health care and being easily susceptible to fatal diseases.
  • Ah, world war 2 has finished and we are currently experiencing an economic recession. Anyways, this has led to many people in Germany having fewer children due to their expense and there has also been a decline in death rates as our country continues to make technological advancements!
  • Not only that, but our soon-to-become, strong economy, the empowering education of people in Germany and great health care systems has resulted in our total population growth stabilizing! Isn’t that awesome?!
  • Early Transition: Birth rates maintain at a very high rate but due to the increase of medical resources, education and overall quality of life, there is a lower death rate. The industrial and medical revolution plays a big part in this stages salvation.
  • We are now in the early 21st century, what a ways we have come to get here! Germany is doing great as a country, we are very technologically advanced, we have a great healthcare and schooling system, there is wealth and an incredible economy!
  • Exactly! All of these factors have led Germany to experience a loss of total population growth. I never thought this day would come! We have long living elders, such as ourselves, contraceptives are very accessible and there is a great balance in gender equality. We are a great striving country!
  • Late Transition: With improved economic conditions and women’s education, this stage entails a lower birth rate and death rate. As a result, there is a decrease in total population growth. Access to contraceptives and an increased amount of women involvement plays a big role in this stage.
  • Post Transition: Total population growth stabilizes. Developed economies, informed civilians, strong healthcare systems and the movement of people into urban areas leads to ideal population growth and smaller family sizes.
  • Declining: Country experiences a decrease in total population growth, this is due to death rates being higher than birth rates. This country must be very developed as such low birth rates arise from prosperous factors revolving quality of life. Germany is currently considered to be in this stage
