  • ...Later that day James went to the shop for more Tarquin's but they had sold out!...
  • I think the main Competitors for Tarquin's are East London Liquor Company, Portobello Road and Sipsmith
  • Tarquin's is my favourite gin but what other gins sell well around here?!
  • - All three brands have some kind of visiter centre and are obviously local    - They have slightly lower price points  - They have focused well on outside areas and large volume based menu listings in pubs and bars
  • Why do you think they have done so well also?
  • Yes I think that would be a good idea. Tarquin's retros are still good and powerful!  I am sure the new bottle will help fight these other brands even more P.O.S, P.O.S, P.O.S - get it everywhere!
  • Tarquin's follows most of these principles already which is great for them!  Maybe they could be looking for venues for more wintery take overs and warming serves now so they are ready for the winter?
  • James returned home to conclude on what he had found out that day... 
  • Tim at Hammonds keen to help as much as he can with Harrods.  Will need to send samples of the new bottle (full) etc once ready.  We are doing well against competitors but need to push on with the new bottle activations
  • Harvey Nichols going very well with lots of lines stocked, the new buyer is keen to do lots more with us HDR going well but need to push on with their Gin and cocktail Listing
  • James wanted to find out any new places he could find Tarquin's
  • Alexa, what's new with Tarquin's and what are they planning for Q4?
  • Both Fenwick and Harrods are key department stores I am focusing on still
  • With the new bottle launched- A focus on prestige Hotel Bars and D&D venues including the following: - The Dorchester (China Tang Etc.) - Skylon - The Ritz - Strand Hotel - South Place Hotel - The Connaught 
  • "Chopping Block" sites to be taking the whole range and using tasting boards in each of their 5 venues for weddings
  • It was time for a drink!  James would create a cocktail...
