- Are you kidding me? Us Socs get into the same problems as you guys might. Even though your group may have tough people like Dally, there's still people like you who are different. You're not all the same.
- Ponyboy and Cherry having their private talk between the Socs and the Greasers and what both groups are really like.
- I thought you might hate us Greasers, we are nothing like you guys.
- This part of the story was about Cherry and Ponyboy's point of view in the Greasers and Socs and what they both thought about it. Ponyboy said that the Greasers were always the rich ones who always had things like pool parties and late night clubs as they were having fun, while the socs never really had anything and they always got into fights. Cherry told Ponyboy that it wasn't always like that and the same problems would usually happen there too. The 2 were comfortable to speak about their own problems and plenty of things were solved and discovered. Their bond became better at the end, they became friends.
- Soda and his history between Mickey Mouse and him when he was 12.
- This was a story that Ponyboy had told Cherry about. It was based of Sodapop and how he really was like when he was Ponyboy's age and how he had a tight relationship with his horse, It was one of his most saddest moments as he was a kid, and it's hard for him to forget as that horse was practically his best friend. Ponyboy had mentioned that all Soda wanted as a kid was a horse, but his got taken away.
- 2 Bit, Marcia, Johnny, Cherry and Ponyboy at the movies together. The 2 had a slight encounter after Dally had tried to annoy the 2 girls as they were watching their movie, but once Johnny had spoken up and told Dally to stop, the 2 groups allied and became friends. 2-Bit came along and introduced himself and the conversations began. It was a good night for the 2 groups.
