Filled with excitement and riches, Mansa Musa starts his wonderful hajj. It's estimated that 60,000 people will be traveling with him including guards, doctors, servants, teachers, etc. It was a long train of camels and caravans and people.
I shall, King Musa!
I must journey on a hajj to Mecca. I shall be leaving Niani very soon. Notify the others immediately.
Mansa Musa arrives in Walata. A pretty boring town with ordinary brick houses. At least it was only abut 500 miles from Niani. Right? Mansa Musa commanded his doctors and guards to guard their camels. If they'd fail, Mansa Musa would use them as camels.
This is our first stop on our great hajj! Doctors and guards, make sure everyone and everything is safe okay?
Yes sir!
Yes, your majesty.
On his way to Taghaza, Mansa Musa decides to stop at a nearby pond to get some water. It is there he questions his own existence and whether he should've even went on this hajj in the first place. Poor Mansa MusaYou'll get through this!
Welcome to Cairo! The city known for it's great pyramids. On his way, Mansa Musa had gathered quite a following, as he gave away gold and even crashed Cairo's economy. He's so close to ending his journey. I can feel it!
It's okay your majesty. I'll help you get through this depressing time. Maybe music will help?
Why? Why did I even think of leaving Niani. How do people expect me to support 60,000 people. Be the world's richest and most popular man?
.
Ah! The Great Cairo is much better than Taghaza! I shall rest and give away gold here before making my way to Mecca!
Did someone say music?
Hopefully I could make the stay better, your majesty.
Mansa Musa arrives in Taghaza. It was there Mansa Musa realized what disgust felt like. Mansa Musa would've rather eaten camel dung then be here. He wasn't pleased with Taghaza at all, and longed to continue his journey.
This Taghaza place is not fit too my liking. Horrible conditions, average, houses, and too small. Good thing I only stopped here to trade my gold for salt.

NO FAIR!
Alas, all good things come to an end. Mansa Musa has arrived in Mecca, but even though his journey ended his sphere of influence still shows up today. Without his popularity and hajj, and those crazy camels, kingdoms after him and Islam wouldn't have been the same.
Finally, After long and exhausting days and travelling for miles and miles I've arrive in Mecca. Celebrate!
