- After hearing the news of Kikay's coming back from the Philippines, Tony visited the parlor of the Mendoza house in Tondo, and Aling Atang was delighted to see Tony in front of their house again.
- CONFLICT:
- Tony and Kikay had a relationship before she went to New York, tony proposed to her after months of staying there. Kikay just stopped sending him letters eventually tony decided to man up and forget his past, so he got secretly engaged with nena.
- Falling action:
- After she found out that Nena and Tony were secretly engaged, Kikay was furious and humiliated by what she heard. She was being aggressive with Neena while Tony and Totoy were trying to separate both of them, but it was too late. Kikay hit Neena forcefully. Rather than helping Nena, Tony chose to help Kikay.
- resolution:
- When KIKAY was unduly influenced by the New York style and attitude to the point where she was trying to manipulate the people surrounding her. She impulsively tried changing inevitable assets without thinking about the negative outcomes. This occurrence has awakened the conflict in her life.
- When kikay and Tony talked about their engagement, they exchanged words that may have offended each other. Kikay was somehow belittling Tony, and this caused a quarrel. Afterward, Nena and Totoy joined them. However, they did not stay for long. When Kikay and Tony were left alone, they apologized for their wrongdoings.
- When Kikay finally realized that her life shouldn't only be revolving around New York. She realized that she didn't change for the better. In fact, it was the other way around. When she realized this, she asked for forgiveness which caused everything to fall back into place.
