- Hey. I'm Blake Dawson. I've got a big secret that nobody knows about. It's a pretty big one too. I'm gay.
- You see, I may look normal on the outside. I am normal, just like you. I'm just different. But in my town you can get punished for being different.
- Blake headed down to say goodbye to his family before he went to school. He put on a smile even thought he didn't want to start school again, the first days of the new year were the worst. He was glad that he was in his last year of middle school though, Blake thought that all middle schools were created just to torture innocent kids.
- Blake's family was just like any other family. His dad worked as a lawyer, his mum stayed at home to look after his little sister and his younger brother had just started grade 2.
- I'm gonna go to school now. Bye.
- Bye Blake. Don't forget to bring home some milk!
- Blake had been friends with Hannah for a long time. They were pretty much destined to become best friends since before they were born, as their parents had all been good friends in high school.

- Hey Blake, good to see you! How was your Summer? We can talk at school, it look's like it might rain. We might want to get to school quickly.
- You're right. By the way, can you remind me to pick up some milk on the way home?
