While the family were having supper, Tom was getting scolded by Aunt Polly.
Now Tom, you better stop coddling Sid or so help me god!!
But aunt! You dont wack Sid when he takes the sugar!
Once aunt polly got up she took the sugar with her, and Tom tried to take it from her right under her nose, and got hit on his hands.
Well, Sid don’t torment a body the way you do. You’d be always into that sugar if I warn’t watching you.
Aunt Polly went to the kitchen, So Sid grabbed the sugar bowl, but it slipped from his fingers and broke!
…..
Aunt polly heard the crash and came back to the dining room, she stopped in her tracks once she saw the broken sugar bowl on the floor.
Now it’s coming

Then, Tom lay sprawling on the floor, aunt Polly had hit him!
Hold on, now, what ‘er you belting ME for? — Sid broke it!
….
Hmph! Well, you didn’t get a lick amiss, I reckon. You been into some other audacious mischief when I wasn’t around!
Aunt Polly felt bad, but didn’t say anything and stormed out of the room.
I knew that in her heart my aunt was on her knees for me.

Aunt polly left the room, so Sid took the sugar bowl, but it fell from his hands!
