- Confusion now hath made his masterpiece. Most sacrilegious murder hath broke ope the Lord's anointed temple and stole thence the life o' th' building.

- I’ll bring you to him.

- Macbeth, the picture of sleepy innocence while he makes small talk with Lennox and sends Macduff to wake Duncan. When Macduff goes in to wake up Duncan he is confused by seeing Duncan's body.

- At a park near the palace, the two murderers are joined by a third, which is a little fishy. He says Macbeth sent him, but the First and Second Murderers didn't seem to be expecting anyone else.As the murderers chat, they hear horses.

- See, they encounter thee with their hearts’ thanksBoth sides are even. Here I’ll sit i’ th’ midst.Be large in mirth. Anon we’ll drink a measureThe table round.He approaches the Murderer.
- Tis Banquo’s then.My lord, his throat is cut. That I did for him.Most royal sir, Fleance is ’scaped.
- While Macbeth is welcoming his guests he sees the murder and walks up to him. The murder says, he killed Banquo's by slitting his throat, however Fleance has escaped.
