  • WHy is it that we are required to use seatbelts when driving or being in a car in general?
  • The answer is simple really, if you don't, your chances of dying are drastically increased when you crash without yourseat belt compared to when you do have it on, it causes you to not go flying through your windshield.

  • When you crash without a seatbelt on, not only will you fly through your windhsheild, but you will also most likely die since most car crasheshappen at high speeds. So let's say you just got into a car crash, both of you are highly likely to fly away with no seatbelts.

  • So, of course, you do. You fly through your windsheild and either into the other driver or the pavement, either one is just as bad as the other. And don't think you can stop yourself with your arms beforehandbecause you would need to be able to bench press around 1500 kg in a second for that to maybe work. All of this leading to your unavoidable demise all because of one seatbelt. And no, the airbag won't always help because not only is it a one time use, it is also not guaranteed that you'll survive only on an airbag, even if it stopped from flying out you would still get at least a severe injury, of course, the most you can get is death. In conclusion, wear your seatbelt when driving.
