- Rebecca:                  Guess what! I'm going to the Storyboard convention!!                 
- Jason and Maggie get into an argument over a computer.  Jason wants to sit at his computer, but Maggie is sitting there and doesn't want to move.  "When we get into the library, somebody is already sitting in my seat, at my computer. At the one I want." (pg. 4)
- Jeremy asks Jason to grab something for him, but Seth says they couldn't have the item. Seth and Jeremy start arguing because Seth's younger brother said they could have it. "Can you reach something for us?... If it's that high, you're not supposed to have it. Did you ever think of that? Seth says." (pg. 72)
- After Jason's parents tell him he's going to the convention he finds out Rebecca is going as well. Jason starts to worry that Rebecca, his crush, won't like him anymore. "The storyboard convention Is going to be right in my hometown this year. And guess what... I am going to go!... I think something bad has just happened." (pg. 115)
