- What is a t-test?A t-test is an inferential statistic that is used to see if there is a significant difference in the means of two groups that are related in some way.

- REMEMBER:The T-test is the right tool to employ when:The standard deviation of the population (σ) is unknown.The standard deviation (s) of the sample is known.The population is normally distributed or almost so.The number of participants is fewer than 30 (n30).
