- Act IOthello and desdemona attempt to build a life together once othello returns, however their relationship is shortly sabotaged by lago.
- Desdemona:My dear Othello!
- Othello:To see you here before me. O my soul's joy! Now that I have returned, let's go.

- lago:The plan is for desdemona to be with you is that you need to get Cassio angry by talking bad about his military skills so that he could hit you which will create public drama
- Act IIRoderigo tries to argue that Cassio was being polite by taking Desdemona’s hand, but Iago convinces him of Cassio’s ill intentions and convinces Roderigo to start a fight with Cassio that evening.
- Rodrigo:I will do this, if i can bring it to any opportunity.
- Desdemona:I do not know where it is at the moment
- Act IIIAfter lago suggested that desdemona and cassio were intimate with proof of cassio having the handkerchief, Othello confronted desdemona about not having it.
- Magic?Othello it's not lost...
- What do you mean?The handkerchief means a lot to me , it has magic .
- Othello:Desdemona where is my handkerchief. The one I gave you?
- Act IVAfter Desdemona has been accused of being intimate with cassio and being a whore, she goes to have a conversation about the accusations that have been made about her.
- Emilia:What happened Desdemona?
- Desdemona:I am too sad to speak. Othello has accused me of being a whore and I don't know why!
- Act VOthello kills desdemona but before, she begs for mercy, then he smothers her. Emilia then comes in and discovers the murder where she tells Othello she knew the whole story and that lago lied to him.
- Then Lord have mercy on me! And have you mercy too! I never did offend you in my life; never loved Cassio but with such general warranty of heaven as I might love, I never gave him token.
- OthelloTherefore confess thee freely of thy sin, For to deny each article with oath cannot remove nor choke the strong conception that I do groan withal. Thou art to die.
