CHAPTER 1 At Mr. Jones's farm, Manor Farm, the animals gather and the leader, Old Major, presents his ideas and philosophies about the way the animals are living. At this moment he comments on the suffering they are going through and the need for a revolution. After completely blaming the humans for this situation, Major teaches the animals a song, Beats of England.
CHAPTER 2The revolution comes even closer when animals attack Mr. Jones, when he drinks and forgets to feed the animals. All last evidence of human survival is destroyed. After Old Major's death, pigs are responsible for teaching and organizing, as they have taught themselves how to read. For that reason,Snowball replaces the inscription “Manor Farm” with the words “Animal Farm.” Finally, the principals of Animalism are transformed into 7 commandments.

CHAPTER 3 The flag-raising cerimony takes place every Sunday, when Snowball and Napoleon usually discuss their ideas. The flag represents England and the animals. When it becomes evident that many animals are not able to memorize the 7 commandments, it is reduced again. Later, a new question arises, about the loyalty of he pigs, who have taken all of the milk and apples for themselves.
