- "Believe me..im a good guy, I'm one of you.By saying this brutus is saying that people should listen to him and believe him becasue his reputaion as an honaable person.

- would you rather casear be alive and you be slaves? brutus says this to give proof to the audinece that he was right to kill casear. if casear lives he would have enslaved every roman citzens.

- i did love caesar, but i loved rome more. when brutus says this it makes the audience feel patriotism and that brutus puts his loyalty for his country above his frienship.

- caesar was at war hero who brought back captives for ransom that benifted rome. caesar cried for the poor caser refusedthe crown three times. these actions proved that casear was not ambitious and they shouldnt have killed him.
- casear was my friend faitful to me this makes the audience feel sympathy for antony.
