- "This concerns all of us."
- The note had sated that Eliza's mother had set up her own wedding and that Eliza was to marry Henry Livingston immediately. Eliza was horrified by this news.
- "No - I" "Is it... oh, can it be...true?"
- As Alex was passing the house where Eliza was staying he heard a scream and a crash. He rushed inside to see Henry, the man Eliza was supposed to marry, on the verge of raping Eliza. Alex put a stop to this.
- Stop! I challenge you to a dual.
- No Alex, it's not worth it.
- Hamilton traveled all the way back to Morristown to ask for her parents hand in marriage. They said yes and so they together, traveled back to Albany to stop Eliza from marrying Henry.
